FAQ's and More

Age Restrictions:
Science Camp is a strictly 18+ event meaning you must be 18 by (17/02/26). ID’s will be checked and approved before camp. Anyone not over 18 will be denied from attending.
Course Restrictions:
NONE! All incoming first years attending the University of Melbourne (regardless of their degree) are welcome on Science Camp. We have multiple leaders from other faculties including Arts, Commerce, Biomedicine, Design and more to cater to students from all degrees.
Sleeping Conditions:
Campers will be sleeping in fully furnished cabins inclusive of beds, showers, bathrooms, living spaces and other amenities. 
Reception:
Campers may or may not have access to reception based on your service provider. However campers are strongly discouraged from using any phones during camp to have the best experience.
Service:
Alcohol will be provided to campers under our obtained Liquor License. All bar staff posses Responsible Service of Alcohol certificates and have the right to refuse service.
BYO Policy:
We have zero tolerance policy of campers bringing there own alcohol and drugs. Anyone caught bringing in alcohol or consuming drugs will be driven to the nearest train station and sent home.
Non-alcoholic options:
If alcohol isn’t your vibe we have an abundance of non-alcoholic options available at all times. Campers will be in no way be forced or encouraged to drink anything they don’t wish to.
Refunds:
There is a strict no refunds policy on tickets returned in less then two weeks before camp. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise and we will do our best to process any refunds. These requests will be processed at the discretion of the executive committee. Please contact musciencestudents@gmail.com for more information.
Cancellations:
Should camp be prevented from going ahead, it will be postponed to a secondary date. Anyone unable to attend will be issued a full refund.
